Ramiro Trevino of Alice, Texas caught this nice red at the
"big rocks" at the end of the Port Aransas Jetties with live shrimp on a "lemon cork" rig fishing suspending his bait at about 8 feet deep. He's been fishing the Jetties for about 14 years, and in that time has picked up some neat tricks. He's invented a "backpack" rig that carries most of the bulky equipment for you on your way out onto the rocks, leaving your hands free for balance or to carry more equipment .
